“Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Sometimes it is not the big things that cause us to be anxious such as job loss, cancer, or relationship problems, but little things that continually wear us down. Have you been through times where it seems as if you have been taking hit after hit with no relief and resolution?

Compared to major issues other people are going through, you know what you are facing is minor so you feel like you can’t ask for prayer.

Guess what. God cares. God cares about every little thing that concerns you. We are to cast ALL our worries on him. We confide in him with all our fears. It doesn’t matter if other people think they are silly or insignificant. Nothing that concerns you is insignificant to your Heavenly Father.

If it is a worry or a burden on your heart, he wants you to talk to him about it and to put your trust in Him concerning it.

Start today. Anytime a troublesome thought comes up, stop and take time to lift it up in prayer to God.
