Introduction
Timestamp: [00:00:00 – 00:07:08]
Hey everybody, I’m Carla with Raised to Walk and it is time for another update in the ongoing Hacked the Saga. I started my channel, Raised to Walk, back in 2013, but I began doing Bible studies and book reviews in 2019. My tagline was sharing good thoughts about good words and they were so good that they got stolen.
Not only stolen, but then all of my platforms and everything were hacked and sabotaged because the people who stole it were trying to cover up the theft. The kicker about this is that these were people that I knew and they are people that basically consider themselves professional Christians.
If you go to my website raisedtowalk.org/hacked-the-saga/ I have this is actually episode number 67 in this whole thing. I would have never believed when I started this in August 2024 that I would still be talking about this and not really getting any adequate response.
Background Resources

I’m not going to go into all the details. You can learn about the good, bad, and the ugly—most of it’s pretty ugly—on my website, raisedtowalk.org. These are all the episodes, and I’m not going to go into more detail there.
Also, if some of you started watching because I was talking about the stolen house in Marion County, Oregon, I don’t know how the local thieves got involved with my friends that are basically intellectual property thieves. I don’t know how those two things connect, but there was a connection. I came across a fraudulent foreclosure through Marion County Sheriff’s and I mean they were the ones doing the fraudulent sale.
One of the people at the office said it’s the judge that handles the foreclosure and they just execute the writ of execution. It’s not up to them to decide whether the foreclosure is valid or not. It was not a valid foreclosure.
Finding My Content
Timestamp: [00:05:32 – 00:08:21]
Here’s the thing. I know that my videos have been restricted based on who’s watching’s IP address. That makes a little bit of a challenge to watch my stuff sometimes, I realize. But if you go to that episode page on my website, not only do I have an outline and a summary of everything I talk about in the video, but I also have links to the video on alternate locations.
When I publish the episode article, the live stream is on YouTube and Rumble. And then I also have it uploaded to Odysee and Bitchute as alternate sites. I never thought I’d be somebody that needed to post on Bitchute, but obviously I do.
I was looking at Odysee just last week and they really categorize it well so I think it makes it easier to find unique creators. YouTube seems like it’s just been taken over by AI-generated videos copying real creators. It seems to me like it’s easier to find real people on Odysee—it’s like old school YouTube rather than what YouTube is now.
Copyright Clarifications
Timestamp: [00:08:21 – 00:12:28]
What I said last week was that I had not heard of anybody ever copyrighting their blog. This was about 2012, 2013, something like that. When I went back to check to see what the cost was to copyright, I discovered something new.
They have this new copyright form that they came out with in 2020 called group registration for short online literary works. This covers blog posts, short media posts, and short online articles. Anything between 50 and 17,500 words is considered a short online literary work.
You can submit a copyright registration for up to 50 at a time and they have to have been published within three months of each other, three consecutive months. I’m not an attorney and I don’t pretend to be one on Twitter, but that is another option if you want to copyright your blog posts.
Go back and look at my Hacked the Saga series, which is basically about somebody stealing my work. Trust me, it’s something you want to do.
I also still think it would be good to have a printed copy of your blog post like I had recommended last week. When I was reading the information on this, it said that it doesn’t cover videos. So I guess there’s another form for videos.
But here’s the thing—what I’ve seen and what has happened is they rip the transcripts off the videos and then they spin that and build it into a model. So even though there is a way to copyright the video itself, I still think it’s worth copyrighting the words. Just having the transcript itself as a printed out form so you can say these are my words, this is when I published it. Yes, this is mine. I still think that would be a good idea.
Cybersecurity Resource
Timestamp: [00:12:28 – 00:15:02]
The second thing I found was a video from Microsoft that showed up right underneath my video from last week. It’s cybersecurity zero to hero by Microsoft. It is a 37-hour course for cybersecurity certifications.
Do I really want to go through 37 hours of cybersecurity? No. But since this started happening to me in December of 2023, I really haven’t got any help or any good advice on things other than buy a new laptop.
Here’s the thing. These people are so hell-bent on having control of my accounts and making sure that I have no communication with somebody that would actually help and stealing anything that I have. I have a Chromebook and they’ve mirrored that. I was looking at last week and the time on it was Texas time.
I’ve already filed a police report against Phil Tallon, the head dean of the school of Christian thought at Houston Christian University, because he’s one of the people that I have physical evidence that he was hacking my Google account in an unauthorized Google family group. But they just don’t give up. It doesn’t look to me like they’re not going to stop unless they’re dead or in jail.
Why Law Enforcement Blows You Off
Timestamp: [00:15:02 – 00:18:46]
This leads us into the next topic. Here’s the thing—when I do live streams, you’re probably going to see glitches. The display of my slides as I was doing the live stream were messed up even though I had gone through every single one of them ahead of time and checked to make sure that they were displaying properly.
The reason is because they basically have control of my system. I am not an IT expert. I don’t hack people at all. But I was trying to figure out why my mouse won’t even work. A wireless mouse doesn’t even work. I had three different ones.
I have been trying to troubleshoot it with one AI model or another because my communications get blocked and they said it looks like radio frequency jamming. When I exported the registry, just the system registry folder on my computer, I couldn’t even upload it because it was 157 megabytes. The model said it should only be 20 or 30 megabytes for that folder.
It almost looks to me like they’re running like an entire virtual machine off of my laptop. I was looking at the device manager and it had multiple mouse inputs and 11 that were hidden. It had two drivers running for different things. Like there should only be one.
Since they’re in my computer, they just go behind me and make typos so it looks like I don’t know how to spell. That’s just what goes on.
My Experience with Law Enforcement
Timestamp: [00:18:46 – 00:26:44]
All of these things that have happened to me— the most that I knew about having problems with my laptop or my phone is I know how to reformat it. I have reformatted this laptop and it didn’t do anything. I think it came to me compromised, honestly.
I had been hacked for basically four or five months from December 2023 to April 2024 before I even reported anything because I knew I was being hacked. They were sending these really malicious and hateful comments online, but it wasn’t in my DM, so how could I prove that it was actually directed towards me?
But in April of 2024, it was such an obvious hack that I thought I can report this to the police. The stalking had been going on for months, but at this point I had something that I could literally say, “Okay, this is what’s going on.”
They blew me off. I called the FBI, they did nothing. They just told me to call the police. The police told me to call Geek Squad. They didn’t even give me a report number, either of them.
Here’s the thing about that—the FBI should have done something because that’s literally their job. They have an entire website ic3.gov that is supposed to be for online cyber crimes. When I submitted to that, the only thing that happened was that it seemed to me like the people attacking me got the information that I submitted.
I have literally reported to local police multiple times and I’ve never gotten any actual help other than getting a case number in subsequent reports. The first time I went in, I wasn’t really asking the officer to do something. I was just saying I wanted to report it so I could document that I had reported what had been happening.
This is when we discovered the bootleg copy of one of the issues of An Unexpected Journal, which was a journal I was involved in publishing at the time. He was helpful at the time and he said there’s not anything that we can do locally because this is an online publication.
I understand that, but this is the thing—I think that’s part of the problem. There’s this idea that it’s somebody else’s job, that that’s not what they do. All the police departments I reported to don’t really seem to me like they’re very familiar with the law.
I was told that identity theft isn’t a crime unless somebody uses your license and impersonates you to an officer. That’s not what identity theft is. Identity theft is stealing identifiable items or details or information about you personally. It’s identity theft apart from any money changing hands.
That’s what they seem to think—that there’s no crime unless money is gone. That’s not the case. I don’t know if it’s just that there’s very bad education for officers. They think that there’s some special task force that’s going to be doing it.
Message for Law Enforcement
Timestamp: [00:26:44 – 00:27:59]
That’s why if you are being targeted, if somebody tries to steal your content, you’re probably going to be targeted. If you are a good writer or create solid information and put it out there, you’re probably going to be targeted.
When I was doing my Bible studies, I always tried to do my best each time. Obviously there are people who considered them good because they did everything they could to steal them. But I never considered my Bible studies any better than any other Bible study teacher or any other class that you would have walked into at Second Baptist in Kingwood, Texas.
I didn’t learn how to teach a Bible study from going through the apologetics program at Houston Baptist University. Other than arguments for scripture and the authority of the gospel, there was no exegesis. There was no survey of the Bible at all. I learned to teach a Bible study from my church because they had good Bible study teachers and also because I read the Bible.
I’m just speaking to other Christian content creators, other Bible study teachers. Even if you think you’re not creating content for anyone beyond your class, if you’re in a church where you’re posting online and somebody in your class says, “Oh yeah, that was a great lesson,” you probably are being targeted and somebody’s probably trying to get into your laptop to see if you have anything written that they could steal.
You think I’m exaggerating. I am not exaggerating.
If you start seeing problems, glitches or weird things happening to you or to your devices, I would start documenting it. You’re probably going to have to be your best advocate because law enforcement probably won’t do it for you unless you completely lay it out for them.
A Message to Law Enforcement Officers
Timestamp: [00:27:59 – 00:44:34]
This is a message for local law enforcement. I realize that there’s crime in every area. You have people that are committing crimes in person. You get called out on domestic violence. And then you have somebody that comes up and says, “Somebody is stealing my work, my content, or they’re hacking me.”
You’re thinking that’s not something that you can really physically track down.[1] I’m assuming that they probably haven’t covered that in training.
So I think there’s this idea that if it’s something that is going to be pursued, somebody else is going to do it. And I don’t think that’s the case.
I think the IC3 website is a complete total joke. I think it just gives a heads up to criminals about things that they have to cover and be on guard against. Literally that’s what I think.
For police officers, really what you are is ministers of justice. That’s a divine role. That’s something that the Lord himself does. This is someone that goes and seeks out the evildoers. This is a function of what God himself does.
When you’re in that position, I think a lot of times people think, “I’m just doing my thing. I’m just going along.” But Paul writes that whatever we do, we’re supposed to do it as to the Lord.[2] And wherever we are, God has put us there for a purpose.
If you are in law enforcement in a community and there’s a wrong being done to somebody in your community, you’re up. That’s on you. I realize that maybe you don’t have the technical capabilities to be able to track it down.
I think one of the most important things would be to take the report and take it seriously. Here’s the thing—the reason that I know who is doing it is because I know them. I know the people and the attacks get different people to hire them to come in and they’re constantly hijacking the sessions on my laptop to try to get into my password manager.[3]
This stuff isn’t new. It’s just the same stuff over and over and over again. You just see the patterns and I know who it is because I know them.
If you are in a community and you’re taking the reports and you’re actually documenting it, there is somebody behind it and the reality is they’re probably not off in Nigeria somewhere.[4] They’re probably local and they’re probably in the community looking out d[5] for the people that they can target.[6]
I’ve looked through enough of those fake probates to see that the attorneys that are filing them all the time. It’s just disgusting. It’s so outrageous. It’s crazy to me that people would do this to their fellow human being, but they are.
There was one person that was in some sort of care home and it almost looked to me like they were taking him out because he was a passenger in a car and he had been in a car accident two or three times in just a few months. It was almost like they were taking him out and getting him in an accident and then he died and they were filing wrongful death suits. They had two going on at the same time to try to get these wrongful death settlements.
I’ve seen probates where “we can’t find any relatives and so these are my friends that I’m leaving everything to.” The majority of wealth, apart from the oligarchs and the tech bros that hold 50% of the wealth, the majority of the wealth of regular people is baby boomers who are in their last stage of life. There is a situation where they are being targeted.
What’s being done to me is not only being done to me— this isolation, blocking of communications so they can try to steal the resources of this older person and the inheritance of their heirs. That is literally what’s going on.
I was in the post office and there was this woman who had brought her neighbor in who looked like he was in his 90s and they were trying to figure out why his mail wasn’t being forwarded. The forward had been cancelled. So he wasn’t getting his mail. And if he hadn’t had a neighbor that took him in, then who knows what somebody would have been doing with his mail.
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been in there when there’s an older person that comes in and they’re saying, “I’m not getting my phone calls. My calls aren’t going through.” And then the customer service person makes a call and it goes through. Well, I have had people controlling my calls, intercepting my calls, and if somebody isn’t mobile and they’re not close to family, who knows what criminals are pulling. This is stuff that’s going on.
My message to law enforcement is that even if you don’t think that you can track down who’s behind what, take the report and take it seriously. Because if you do, I am sure—this is not my job—the biggest thing for me identifying patterns was watching “one of these things is not like the other” on Sesame Street.
If your job is in community policing and solving crimes, I am positive that you would be able to pick up these patterns and get a feel for who’s behind it. There’s just a different feel to it. And if you are the one that’s getting these reports, you’re going to be getting a sense of the dynamics.
Also, have community meetings and say, “Hey, this is what’s going on. We’ve had multiple reports.” You’ll know what’s happening. And hopefully you’ll have a little bit better connection. I think personally the FBI is worthless, but you might be able to get some resources from them for people that are experiencing this.
If you’re having these community meetings, maybe you have some smart people in the community that would be able to give some advice about practical tips on how to guard against what’s going on.
When criminals have had free reign, when you start pushing back against it, they’re going to amp up. But if you keep continually pushing it back and make it difficult for them, they’ll go to some other community where there are easier marks.
Take it seriously. My friends have been faking being marketing experts, social media marketers. They don’t know the first thing about marketing. They fake engagement. They hack and sabotage other accounts. And so these metrics they think prove that they’re good.
Marketing is about communicating the message of a business to their customer and developing that relationship. You don’t want to have a business based on people that are looking for the best deal. You want to have a connection with your clients and customers that they know that they can trust you and that you’ll do right by them.
I realize that as law enforcement, your metrics are certain things. It’s like discipleship in church. Everybody counts the number of baptisms or the number of people who come up for an altar call. But that’s not what the goal is. The goal is to make disciples. So it’s easier to count numbers than it is to assess the quality of the connections.
I realize that’s a challenge for police officers where their effectiveness is based on metrics. Are they really bringing peace to the community? I realize that. But I think the smaller you are, you may say, “We don’t have a lot of resources.” Maybe you don’t, but you have a lot stronger and a lot better ability to make connections with people.
That’s what’s the most important thing—knowing what’s going on in people’s lives. When people come to you with a problem, then acknowledge the problem and say, “Okay, I’ll make a note of this. I may not have a solution for you, but we’re going to keep an eye out.”
Building an Investigative Dossier
Timestamp: [00:44:34 – 00:49:07]
The final thing I want to cover is building an investigative dossier. I came across this great resource. It’s a website called Media Helping Media and it’s mediahelpingmedia.org and this is a lesson on compiling an investigative journalism dossier. d[7] d[8]
You may be saying, “Why do I need to do that?” Here’s the thing—this was literally like a light bulb moment for me. Maybe you’re not planning on filing a report. Who knows? You might need to file a court case if you’re like me and they don’t leave you alone and they keep stealing your stuff.
This is what they recommend doing: Have a master chronology timeline, the cast list, and the evidence log. You’re having a chronology timeline—what happened when. The cast list—profiles of individuals or organizations. And the evidence log—documents, recordings, and metadata.
Here’s the thing. I have thousands, tens of thousands of screenshots. I’ve been doing this since 2024. And I have so much. I was looking back on some memories that came up on Google photos and I’m like, “Oh my gosh, I totally forgot that that even happened.”
If you have to start getting into documenting attacks against you, this is what you do. Last week I showed a Google spreadsheet on how I kept track of my content timeline, a content workbook. But you just create an Excel file or create one online.
Timeline Documentation Strategy
Timestamp: [00:45:51 – 00:46:06]
Have a sheet for the timeline—what happens when. I started doing this and I’m just listing things. Like yesterday they were blocking me from pasting my Proton password into Proton VPN so I’d have to type it and they have a key logger on my laptop. So anyway, I included that in my update.
Cast List Development
Timestamp: [00:46:06 – 00:46:10]
Then you want to have a cast list of individuals and organizations. I have done this over different reports over the time, but this is a great idea to have just one document where you can just pull out, “Okay, this is who’s who.”
Evidence Log System
Timestamp: [00:46:10 – 00:49:07]
And then also the evidence log. On this timeline, what they recommend is you have the evidence log with some sort of ID system for every single evidence—screenshot, document, whatever you have—with an identifier. And then on the timeline, you have a note of which of those in the evidence log corresponds to that master chronology.
Transition to Proton Drive & Privacy Tools
Timestamp: [00:49:07 – 00:50:26]
I have started using Proton for my email and then I started using the VPN and then I started using their authenticator. When I first started using it in July of last year, they only had about half of those things listed on their website. But if you look to see what they have now, they have mail, drive, VPN.
Proton Drive isn’t just storage now. It’s becoming more competitive with Google Drive. They have docs and they have sheets and they also have their own AI chat agent.
Proton is privacy focused. They’re not going to be sharing your information, your conversations, your emails with somebody else or using that to build their own product off of it.
Moving Away from Google
Timestamp: [00:50:26 – 00:52:01]
Personally, I’ve been integrated with Google since it was a thing, since they had started having Google accounts. But I’m moving away from it because a good percentage of the hacks have been through Google. Like I showed a couple live streams ago, my Google contacts—the one with Jason Smith—there’s literally faked activity on it. Faked activity from the inside.
It’s really not something that I trust anymore. I have the link that you see at the bottom, raisedtowalk.org/go/get-proton-drive. That’s an affiliate link. If you try it out and use Proton Drive instead of Google Drive, if you go through that, then I do get some sort of commission.
This is what I’m using now instead of Google for my stuff just because honestly I think that Google has betrayed its users. The last thing is that they’re crawling your emails. They have to have unique words for their AI to run off of and you’re the product now. Or you’re the source for their product. You don’t even have the dignity of being your own product.
Closing & Resources
Timestamp: [00:52:01 – 00:53:28]
That is it for today. When I put this up on my website, I will include that link to building the investigative dossier. If you have any questions about it or if you have any ideas of how to make it more usable and useful, then be sure to make a comment. It’s probably better to comment on my site rather than YouTube because the comments get wiped and blocked.
If you want an update about when I’m streaming or other things that are going on, you can sign up for my newsletter at resources.raisedtowalk.org. This is just a reminder—you have to confirm the sign up. Once you submit your email, you’ll get an email confirmation. If you don’t see it, look in the spam box and you have to click confirm because otherwise I can’t confirm it for you.
I hope that you found that useful and we will probably see you next week in another update. It’s every day, y’all. Every single day there’s something new. But anyway, I hope you have a great week and I’ll talk to you later.

NOTE: Over the past year as I began to realize how the criminals were accessing my accounts and their motivation, in addition to documenting the stolen sessions, I also began taking photos of the person near me when I could tell my device was being hacked who I suspected was responsible for the attack.
Sometimes the person looked like they might actually make a living in IT and this was their “weekend warrior” mission: hacking the accounts of a third-grade Sunday school teacher so fake Christians could continue to use her accounts as mules for Adsense revenue and YouTube watchtime laundering.
But very often, the perpetrators have been young people that look like they are college age, and even some that looked young enough to be in high school. Based on my personal experience and reading about Scattered Spider, while the big hits may have been coordinated by four individuals, I don’t think their arrests have stopped the criminal activities of the network … at all.
The kids just aren’t going for the big plays anymore. They’re stealing sessions from the unaware at coffee shops, libraries, and churches.
To them, it’s a game. However, what they are doing is a very real and actual crime with serious consequences. Some of them may soon discover just how difficult life can be and how many doors will be closed to them with a criminal record.
If you have a teen or college student that always seems to have money and you’re not sure of the source, I would do some investigating. Those people they talk to online may be getting them involved in more than the latest cheat codes in a game.

Most police departments simply are not equipped to address the digital criminal horde attacking their communities.
