“Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14

We are almost to the end of our focus on overcoming fear. What is the message God has for us? How does he tell us to combat the fear and worry that is always trying to wear us down, steal our joy, and misdirect our focus.

In each passage that speaks about fear, there is a pattern. It is this:

  • Seek God
  • Trust in Him
  • Obey his instructions
  • Wait for his timing and watch for his acts.

Jesus didn’t just die on the cross to give you eternal life. He came and lived, suffered, died, and rose again so that he could have #victory and dominion over every evil power in this world. Through and in Him, we as believers are given this authority.

In this world today, not someday after you die. In this Psalm, David says that he would not have been able to continue to trust unless he had believed to see God’s goodness “in the land of the living.” Today.

While you are waiting, #SeekGod, #StandFirm, and wait on God’s timing. While you are waiting, ask God to build your faith and strengthen your hear.

I would have fainted, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord! ~ Psalm 27:13-14 #quote @raisedtowalk #Bible #verse #bibleverse #Christian #faith #truth #love
