The Hebrew Year 5774 – Open Doors

The Hebrew year 5774 began on September 4th with Rosh Hashanah.  Each Hebrew letter also has a numerical value and pictorial meaning.  I found a beautiful article explaining the meaning the year that just commenced.  You can read it here, but here are a few excerpts.

The ayin is described as having 2 eyes – the choice of using good or evil to perceive things – optimism or pessimism . . .  The name ayin can also mean “eye” or “fountain”, a fountain of wisdom and the ability to perceive wisdom.

Come out of the tent of fruitlessness and frustration. Re-envision God’s promises made long ago.

Possessing our destiny will necessitate a time of introspection and honest assessment. . . If you are to come out of your tent of limitation, whatever is limiting you must be targeted. Many are kept from their destiny because they refuse to acknowledge the purpose for which they were created. Sometimes we want to be anything BUT what God has called us to be.

Doors will open this year as you are willing to walk through them.

Expect Confirmation.  The once far-off promise was given a due date. Things that have hovered in the realm of the ethereal, upon confirmation, will begin to materialize in the coming year. 1 Flores, Melissa. The Year 5774: Ayin Dalet.  Defining Words. 9 September, 2013.  Accessed 14 October 2013.

Remember just who is on your side and to be ready to receive exactly what He has planned for you.

I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them. 23 He will bring honor to his family name, for I will drive him firmly in place like a nail in the wall. 24 They will give him great responsibility, and he will bring honor to even the lowliest members of his family.  ~ Isaiah 22:22-24 NLT

 And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid[a] on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit[b] on earth will be permitted in heaven.” ~ Matthew 16:19 NLT

He never takes his eyes off the innocent,
but he sets them on thrones with kings
and exalts them forever.  ~ Job 36:7  NLT

They will be like mighty warriors in battle,
trampling their enemies in the mud under their feet.
Since the Lord is with them as they fight,
they will overthrow even the enemy’s horsemen. ~ Zechariah 10:5  NLT

“But true wisdom and power are found in God;
counsel and understanding are his.
What he destroys cannot be rebuilt.
When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape. ~ Job 12:13-14  NLT

“He uncovers mysteries hidden in darkness;
he brings light to the deepest gloom.  ~ Job 12:22 NLT

 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia.

This is the message from the one who is holy and true,
the one who has the key of David.
What he opens, no one can close;
and what he closes, no one can open:

 “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.  ~ Revelation 3:7-8
