On Easter

What is Easter?

Easter, along with Christmas, is one of the two main religious celebrations in Christianity. Easter, also known as “Pascha” in some areas of the world, is celebrated as the day that Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, rose from the dead. The Gospel accounts of Jesus’s life all report that the women among Jesus’s followers found his tomb empty when they arrived on the third day after his crucifixion.
