10:54- Judgment from associations

1 John 1:9

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Hebrews 10:14

For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.

Psalm 101:7-8 NLT

I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house,
and liars will not stay in my presence.
My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked
and free the city of the Lord from their grip.

1 Corinthians 5:9-13

When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. 10 But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. 11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer[a] yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.

12 It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. 13 God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”[

Ephesians 5:11

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.

Romans 2:1-4

You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

Women Activists

@afghanwomen_j_m Taliban attack during the organization of the protest program in Kabul.

This video was taken when the girls were gathering for a demonstration when the Taliban suddenly entered the house and took 8 protesters with them.

@natiqmalikzada The identities of the protesting girls who were arrested by the Taliban tonight are as follows:

1 Khatol Farhood
2 Hajar Azada
3 Hasina Sarwari
4 Farida Mohib
5 Toba Ataye
6 Lima Amiri

@Mariamistan The 6 Afghan women arrested are free but with the condition never to protest again. Outside Afghanistan, if women speak up, Taliban sympathizers claim only those inside Afghanistan have that right. Yet when Afghan women inside the country voice concerns, they’re silenced & intimidated by the Taliban. Every woman, everywhere, should amplify the plight of Afghan women. We’re witnessing the world’s gravest human rights crisis.

Taliban releases 8 detained women activists in Kabul after seeking “guarantee”

I still think the salon closure is linked to the Taliban’s inordinate fear of women assembling. Women were arrested in a home meeting & told not to “protest” again. What are they afraid of? A band of Jaels taking off? #TeamJael

Murder of Youtuber

@AWCSWO We are sorry to hear about the tragic incident involving Hurra Sadat, the YouTuber from Afghanistan. According to her relatives, she was killed by unknown individuals three days ago. This loss is deeply saddening and highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by individuals in Afghanistan. The rise in targeted killings under the Taliban’s rule serves as a stark reminder of the crimes committed by this group. These targeted killings, often carried out against journalists, activists, and other individuals who voice dissent or advocate for human rights, are a clear violation of basic human rights and freedom of expression. Such acts not only instill fear and silence opposition but also demonstrate the Taliban’s disregard for the principles of democracy and the rule of law.
These targeted killings must be brought to the attention of the international community, as they expose the true nature of the Taliban and their oppressive tactics. It is crucial that the world remains vigilant and holds the Taliban accountable for their actions. The international community, human rights organizations, and governments must condemn these crimes and work together to ensure the safety and protection of individuals at risk under the Taliban’s rule.
By shedding light on these targeted killings, we can raise awareness and mobilize support to address the ongoing human rights violations in Afghanistan. It is essential that the international community stands united in condemning these crimes and takes concrete actions to protect the lives and rights of those affected.

@AmuTelevision Taliban confirmed on Thursday that Hoora Sadat, a YouTuber from Afghanistan, has been killed in Kabul this week.

Khalid Zadran, a Taliban spokesman, wrote in a post on X that the incident happened in Kabul’s Police District three days back.

He said two people, including a woman, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Further detail about the incident is yet to be available.

Sadat’s vlogs were mainly focused on social issues among other topics.

@Sayel_D UPDATE ON HORA SADAT’S DEATH:

According to group of women activists in Afghanistan, #HoraSadat was under pressure to marry a Talib when she rejected the offer. Hora was abducted, tortured and reportedly r*ped then killed.

Police says she went for a gathering to her friend’s house & there she was poisoned. But the police did not provide information on where did she go? Who were in that gathering?

Today where women are not allowed to move without Mehram “male guardian” in daylight, how it was possible for #HORASadat to go to a gathering ALONE at night???

Hora’s case should be taken very serious if we are genuinely concerned about safety of women of Afghanistan.
=== Who is accountable for Hora Sadat’s death?
A young YouTuber was allegedly killed & the news came out after four days of her death. If there is justice ( as Taliban claim) if there is law ( as Taliban claim) her body should be exhumed immediately and an indetail investigation should be done to get the facts behind this sad incident.

@natiqmalikzada VIDEO — Today, the Taliban prevented dozens of female students from traveling to Dubai for educational purposes at the Kabul airport. These girls, who were set to travel to Dubai with financial support from an Emirati businessman, were accompanied by a “male mahram” as directed by the Taliban. However, the Taliban still did not allow them to leave. @KhalafAlHabtoor, the Emirati businessman who had taken on the cost of the girls’ travel and education, confirmed this move by Taliban in a video, and says that he is lost for words to describe the disappointment he currently feels.

@heatherbarr1 This is an important and alarming step beyond the extraordinary level of cruelty the Taliban already engage in by denying girls and women education. This is holding them prisoner to prevent others from helping them study.
== I am unable to express the disappointment I feel now as The Afghan female students, whom I had provided an educational scholarship in collaboration with the @uniofdubai presented by Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki @ebastaki, were unfortunately unable to reach #DubaiAirport this morning to continue their studies due to Taliban’s interference. This has left me lost for words to describe the disappointment I currently feel.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating this day for a while; after months of unceasing efforts among @AlHabtoorGroup’s team members and I to secure university admissions, accommodations, transportation, health insurance, and an array of comprehensive services aimed at ensuring the utmost comfort and safety for the female students, our aspirations were crushed. The authorities in #Afghanistan, without justification, prevented their departure, unjustly curtailing their freedom.
This stands as a profound tragedy, a blow against the principles of humanity, education, equality, and justice. I request all involved parties to quickly step in and help rescue and assist these struggling students.

@submarine_lemon There is no Taliban 2.0. They did this last time. You know what else they did? They banned women from leaving the house at all and everyone was made to paint their windows black, supposedly so the outline of a woman could not be seen through them. This is #GenderApartheid.
==Taliban officials blocked 100 female students from leaving Afghanistan at Kabul airport as they were due to board a flight to the United Arab Emirates.

@natiqmalikzada VIDEO | Taliban’s Ministry of Vice and Virtue agents in the Andkhoi district of Faryab do not allow girls to go to the market. “Even though the girls are fully in hijab, this Talib still does not allow them to go to the market,” says the person recording.

@heatherbarr1 “I’ve heard more than one Afghan woman talk about how next the Taliban won’t allow them to breathe. That sounds very hyperbolic until you see them doing things like actually trying to stop women from being outdoors and enjoying nature.”

@skotrds On September 07th 2021, my Chief of Party, a member of the Khalilzad family, a fact which the IEA posted publicly joined the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan; he asked me to join but I declined. As such, the very first meeting minutes of the IEA were shared with me. I draw your attention to point (3). For 2 years, I have sat on this information, but the position of women, has since day one been a ransom, and there is no reason to believe that should the frozen funds be released, the position of women be improved. There has been no conversation with the IEA that has been on anything but “sanctions, blacklist, and travel ban.” Here are the minutes.

We worked on the initial documents for the IEA on WASH, despite outlining a clear proposition, that too was re-drafted by them as a “ransom”. The use of suffering and needs of the Afghan people has only ever been this way since the onset; the idea that the West will not abandon 38 million people.

@StephanAJensen Both Europe and the US can do far more to support Afghan girls and women get education, such as:

– Fund online learning that can be accessed via smartphones, both for secondary school and university degrees. This can be done at scale, via the internet, whether the Taliban wants to or not

– Massively expand scholarship and visa opportunities for Afghan girls and women to study abroad, and provide safe routes for those kept from leaving by the Taliban
== We kindly ask @Europarl_EN to have suitable educational properties for AFG women, since last two years we haven’t seen any reaction from the @Europarl_EN to support women for education, this is the time to stand with your friend country AFG, a country which keeped NATO in hug.

@natiqmalikzada VIDEO | An agent of the Taliban’s Ministry of Vice and Virtue ties a young man’s hand and cuts his hair. Harassment of people by Taliban forces in the streets has increased significantly. Yesterday, a group of people gathered in Kabul and beat up a Taliban fighter who was harassing people on the street.

@submarine_lemon Life for Afghanistanis temporarily residing in a neighbouring country is extremely difficult. They need help with food, accommodation, medical, schooling and visa advocacy. It is so difficult that many have returned to Afghanistan.

34:50- Humanitarian Aid

37:20- Afghanistan Economy

@submarine_lemon The Taliban has made so many people jobless, and it is unlikely to substantially improve in the future, with women not being allowed to study or work.
== 📉At least 70% of Afghans are living below the poverty line and are jobless.

👩‍💼👨‍🏭Amidst a collapsing economy, small and medium-sized businesses continue to lay off staff.

⏱️Time is running out and #AfghanistanCantWait.

@skotrds The rare event that @paykhar and I agree on something, it will get worse, and will it will drive people to more desperation. The climate won’t get easier. Solving problems like this for people requires cooperation and that is where we will see many, many more people die.

June 6, 2023: Another U.S. Supreme Court Decision Strikes Down a Waters of the United States Rule

https://www.adamsandreese.com/news-knowledge/wotus-sacket-ii-supreme-court-decision

The Supreme Court recently ruled against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in a decision to place new limits on the Clean Water Act.

For more than five decades, this environmental law has stood as the legal framework to ensure U.S. waters are clean and unpolluted. However, the Sackett v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ruling reinterprets the Clean Water Act, narrowing some of those protections — leaving many wetlands at risk, explains FIU Assistant Professor of Law Alex Erwin.

Erwin — who conducts research on environmental law and natural resources law, including wildlife conservation and management — explains the key issues in Sackett v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and what the Court’s decision means for the future of critically important wetlands, like the Everglades.

@NasserWaziri The potential threat posed by ISIS and al Qaeda achieving Bin Laden’s vision of a caliphate is a serious matter. It’s a reminder that counterterrorism efforts remain essential in safeguarding global security.

Afghan Resistance

@natiqmalikzada The National Resistance Front reports that they targeted a Taliban military vehicle with a roadside mine in Deh Sabz district of Kabul, injuring two Taliban members. The #NRF in a statement says that its forces planted the mine alongside the road, which exploded as a Taliban ranger vehicle passed by. This resulted in two armed Taliban members getting wounded and their military vehicle being destroyed.

This marks the second attack by NRF in the past 24 hours in Kabul alone. Recently, two active anti-Taliban fronts, the National Resistance Front and the Freedom Front, have escalated their activities against Taliban positions.
